PATIENT EXPERIENCES
Review and privacy policy
Experience reports help visitors understand practical aspects of a hospital visit. They are personal accounts, not verified clinical outcomes.

What to share
Use a nickname and describe your own experience with booking, language support, waiting or explanations of charges. Provide the visit month and campus or service. Do not include diagnoses, treatment details, medical records, passport numbers, phone numbers, email addresses or other people's identities. No document upload is offered. We do not request your email address.
Moderation and ratings
Every submission starts privately in a moderation queue. The site operator reviews relevance, privacy, spam and abusive content before publication. A low score is not a reason for rejection. Published reviews remain labelled as self-reported visits; moderation does not verify that care took place or establish medical quality. Reviews are not purchased or pre-filled.
Selected five-star experiences may appear above the full list and are labelled as a selection. The average and rating distribution include all approved reviews for that page, not only the selection. The full list is ordered by submission date. Review scores do not change the alphabetical hospital directory.
Shared medical data center
Reviews are stored separately from hospital facts in the China Medical Data Center review service, linked to a hospital and page/campus scope. Your public nickname, visit month, location, score and review text are published on China Hospital Finder only after moderation. If you choose the separate optional sharing permission, these public fields may also be displayed by ChinaMedMap and other hospital websites using the same shared data center, after each site's review and scope matching. Your original source site is attributed. Sharing is not required to leave a review here.
User experiences are not automatically promoted into verified hospital facts. Third-party platform reviews are not copied into this service.
Processing and retention
China Hospital Finder's operator manages the review service. Cloudflare provides the hosting and independent D1 storage; network requests may be processed internationally. Reviews are not committed to our GitHub medical research repository. The service uses a daily pseudonymous network hash for submission limits and removes expired rate-limit records during daily maintenance. The application does not store the raw IP address in its review tables; hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request data.
Pending or rejected review names and text are cleared after 90 days by daily maintenance. Approved reviews remain until withdrawn or removed after moderation. Moderation events and non-text record metadata are retained for operational accountability. Hosting backups follow the provider's retention schedule; active-database removal does not promise immediate erasure from every backup.
Withdraw your review
After submitting, save the private withdrawal receipt shown on screen. It is not stored in your browser automatically and is not a public link. On any hospital review section, open “Withdraw a review” and paste that receipt. Withdrawal immediately excludes the review from this shared service's public responses and clears its nickname, location text and review body from the active database. Anyone holding the receipt can withdraw the review, so keep it private.
If you lose the receipt, use “Report this review” on the published review to request moderation. Reports are checked by the site operator; they do not automatically remove reviews. No guaranteed review or response time is offered. For corrections, withdraw the original and submit a new version for moderation.
Report a concern
Each public review offers report categories for private information, spam, the wrong location or another concern. Do not submit personal or medical details in a report. Public material may be copied by others; the service cannot remove independent copies outside its control.
